Module 1

Hi my name is Jo and this is the first time that I have set up a Blog. I work in a Primary School on the Mornington Peninsula. Although I am aware of many of the Web 2.0 tools mentioned in Module 1 I am really looking forward to learning how to use them in my classroom but also as a tool for communicating with parents.

I enjoyed watching the video's in Module 1 and in particular reading the 25 tools- A Toolbox for Learning Professionals.  What a lot there is out there to use with students and I can't wait to start using some of these Web 2.0 tools in my classroom.

First job learn how to post this so it can be read and next - set up a class Blog.

  1. Hi Jo I'm doing this course too. I've just started today so am miles behind. I set up a class blog last term for my class. It was fairly straight forward but have found exploring its potential the best way to learn what you can do. Mine is still very simple. It can be found at cwilliams.global.vic.edu.au/ but I'm going to set up a new one for this course.

    1. Hi Carol, I just set up a class reading blog on Monday and somehow I have lost it. Thought it was too easy. Hope I get it sorted soon.
